In the holy month of Ramadan, the final scripture Al-Qur'an was revealed. Two billion Muslims worldwide have maintained a connection with the Al-Qur'an by memorizing it, watching it, reciting it extensively in mosques, at home, and listening to it during prayers.

We have reached the great day of Eid-ul-Fitr by fasting physically, mentally, and materially for our spiritual development, engaging in dhikr, offering zakat, sadaqah, night prayers, and supporting Allah's love, forgiveness, and deliverance from hell.

On behalf of the President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Committee Members, Officers, and Aalim members of the All Ceylon Jamiyyatul Ulama, we extend our best wishes for Eid-ul-Fitr to all Muslims celebrating this occasion.

 In this Ramadan, as we were in touch with Allah (swt) and Al-Qur'an, immersed in worship, distanced ourselves from sins, and engaged in good deeds, we should be able to observe worship, giving and receiving, family social life, cultural values, etc., in the coming times. The last Ramadan has given us the training for that.

Similarly, we urge all Muslims to fast and show social unity in Ramadan, so we should adhere to the same unity for the welfare of the nation, harmony, and coexistence, and be worthy of the country on this great day.

The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is based on obedience. We express our joy and happiness that we have completely obeyed the command of Allah for a month, have been hungry, thirsty, restrained our senses, fasted, stood in worship at night, and fulfilled our duties on this great day.

May Almighty Allah accept our fasts and our deeds and give us high rewards, and with the maturity we have achieved in Ramadan and our close relationship with Al-Qur'an, may peace prevail in the countries of the world, especially in Palestine, and may Allah Ta'ala prevail in our country and coexistence!
